Une dissolution programmée et une archéologie accélérée.
Ces moulages de cordes n'ont jamais été cuits et ne jouent pas le même rôle que celui de l'installation "Chordes". Plantés dans le sable, cachés comme des racines, ils émergent au gré des irrégularités de la surface du sol. Seules trois boites transparentes, telles des coupes de terrain offertes au regard, permettent au spectateur d'assister durant un mois à la lente dissolution des pièces le temps de l'exposition.
L'idée de l'exhumation des vestiges archéologiques a été présente tout au long de cette recherche.

L'insaisissable (the elusive)
The elusive character of time dissolution. An accelerated archaeology.
These rope casts have never been fired and have a different function than in the "Chordes" installation. Pitched in the sand, hidden like tree roots, they emerge following the irregularities of the earth’s surface. Only three transparent boxes, like cross-sections of the ground, are exposed to the public gaze and allow the onlooker to witness the slow disintegration of the pieces in the period of a month during the exhibition. The underlying idea of archaeological remnants was omnipresent.

L'insaisissable (Το ασύλληπτο)
Μια επιταχυνόμενη αρχαιολογία.
Αυτά τα κεραμικά σχοινιά δεν ψήθηκαν ποτέ και δεν διαδραματίζουν τον ίδιο ρόλο με τα σχοινιά, στήν εγκατάσταση "Chordes". Χωμένα στην άμμο, κρυμμένα σαν ρίζες, αναδύονται ανάλογα με τις πτυχώσεις της επιφάνειας του εδάφους. Μόνο τρία διαφανή κουτιά, σαν τομές του εδάφους που προσφέρονται στη ματιά, επιτρέπουν στο θεατή να παρευρεθεί για έναν ολόκληρο μήνα στην αργή διάλυση των εκθεμάτων, όσο διαρκεί η έκθεση. Η ιδέα της ανάσυρσης αρχαιολογικών ευρημάτων ήταν παρούσα σε όλη την διάρκεια αυτής της αναζήτησης.
